Santhome Ashram situated in the diocese of Balasore, in Orissa state was Established in 1997. In response to the invitation of the bishop of Balasore diocese to initiate some job oriented technical education in this remote village for the welfare of the people of his diocese, we first began an ashram in 1997 as the residence of Brothers who work there.
