This is the second Ashram of CST Congregation and was established in 1942 . Our beloved founder Mar Augustine Kandathil donated his Patrimony land and a chapel in it at Mathunkal, Chempu near Vaikom to establish an ashram and an orphanage. St. Stephen’s Ashram is in this land at sea-shore.
